GMail Manager Not Working - GMail Manager Firefox Add-On Plugin Stopped Working
Why is the Gmail Manager not working!!! The GMail Manager add-on for Firefox which I so heavily rely on has stopped working for the past week. Apparently the reason why it stopped working is because Google changed something on their end regarding authentication because several other Firefox plugins for Gmail stopped working recently as well. I have scoured the web for answers and have found several other people discussing the same problems, but nobody has any solutions! This is driving me nuts!

Perhaps the recent 0.5.7.4 update is buggy. Im still on 0.5.7.2 and i haven’t noticed any outages at all. Im still using Firefox 2.0.0.20 thou, maybe that’s the difference?
I also think it’s on Gmail’s side. I downgraded one of my machines to 0.5.7.1 from longfocus.com’s site. Still nothing. I’m using Firefox 3.0.14/0.5.7.1 and 3.5.3/0.5.7.4. Neither installation works. Hopefully, one of the add-on makers will upgrade.
Hi, I was having the same problem and I got quite worried. I think the solution is just to restart your router and/or refresh your DNS entries by usind ipconfig /release then ipconfig /flushdns and then ipconfig /renew. Good luck
I have had the same problems for weeks but finally found a solution today using the beta version:
http://longfocus.com/firefox/gmanager/releases/gmanager0575b2.xpi
The same source said it would be a official release in a few days.
I updated to 0.5.7.4 a short while ago, but it is only since yesterday (for me) that GMail Manager has been unable to auto-login. I’d say that Google has changed something, as the OP suggests. Google delivers updates in stages across the world so people will see this issue at different times. (I’m in the UK.)
I had the same problem, but just installed the 0.5.7.5 experimental version that can be found on Firefox addon site, and it seems to have solved my problems. I run Firefox 3.5.3
I had the same problem — install the following for a fix:

A new version 0.5.7.5 available on author’s site is working fine. They fixed the bug you are mentioning about.

I installed the version 0.5.7.5b2 and the problem was solved. As I said the bookfraud link is the http://longfocus.com/firefox/gmanager/releases/gmanager0575b2.xpi
I am using Gmail manager 0.6 with FireFox 3.6 and have tried to uninstall the addon with no luck. I can disable it, but it starts up a few days alter on it’s own. Does anyone have any ideas?
